Service Description:

The EASE service is a curb-to-curb, on-demand service operated by a small bus in East Ames (See EASE Brochure).

Riders can use CyRide On Demand to catch the EASE bus. Download the Ride Pingo app, or contact CyRide at (515) 239-5600 to schedule a bus.

The service will pick up customers at locations within the EASE zone, as well as at Ames City Hall on the south side of the building. Transfers can be made at City Hall to other CyRide bus routes. Trips that start and end within the zone can also be accommodated.

Service Hours/Days of Service:

7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (on-demand)

Weekdays (Monday - Friday)

Riding the Bus

To schedule a trip in the EASE zone, use the Ride Pingo app (visit CyRide On Demand for more information), or call CyRide at 239-5600.

Cancellations

If there is a need to cancel a previously scheduled trip, you can cancel within the app. If you called to catch a ride, please notify CyRide at 515-239-5600 at least 30 minutes before the trip scheduled time.

Pick Up Times

Vehicle arrival times may vary, so please be ready at least five minutes before the time you are given.

Pick Up Locations

CyRide will accommodate most location requests; however, not every stop will be ADA accessible.

Cost Per Ride

This cost to ride the EASE is the same as a riding any regular bus (excluding 20-series or circulator routes) at a fare of $1.00 per trip. Iowa State Student Identification Cards, Reduced fares, tickets (yellow or green), passes, and transfers are also accepted.
