• Reduced Fare Summer, Fall, School Year, and Winter passes may be used by K-12 students, persons with a disability, Medicaid/Medicare cardholders, and persons over 65 years of age.
• The Reduced Fare Monthly pass may be used by persons with a disability, Medicare/Medicaid cardholders, and persons over 65 years of age. The Reduced Fare Monthly pass may be purchased only at CyRide and City Hall.
• Persons over 65 who do not have a Medicare/Medicaid card should contact CyRide for a Reduced Fare Certification Card to show the driver as proof to ride for half fare. Persons with disabilities should show their A D A identification card (card utilized to ride Dial-A-Ride) to the driver to ride for half fare on CyRide. Medicare/Medicaid cardholders can also show their Medicare/Medicaid cards to the driver as proof of eligibility for half fare with no other proof necessary.

** I S U Parking Systems subsidizes passes for University Staff, Faculty Members and Postdocs:  The subsidized passes are available at University Bookstore, or at the CyRide office, or through the mail. Any person who does not have a "Staff/Faculty" ID card must show a current Iowa State University pay stub to be eligible for the subsidized pass.
